Guys, a piece of news from Bill Metzger. There’s a really solid sort of in-town retreat coming up, hosted by the men’s group at Trinity Episcopal and led by by Cubby Culbertson, Irving Philpot, Sam Hunter and Det Bowers. It’s being called an “Advance” as opposed to a “Retreat” because of the pro-active theme. I’m planning to attend if I’m at all able, and I think we could get a small group together at least to check it out. Read below and contact me if you’re interested —
“The theme of the Advance is Are You Missing It! Over 500 men have participated in an Advance including many men from Trinity. This is the first time one has been offered in the Midlands. There is no singing, hand holding or group hugs, just a very time efficient evening and morning of Christian teaching, fellowship and discussion specifically geared toward how we men can become stronger spiritually in all of our various roles in life and lead our families Biblically.”
